In 2020 Jason became a qualified drone operator. He holds Permission for Commercial Operation (PfCO) issued by The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) . These permissions have seen Jason undertake commercial drone photography in Central London and around oil rigs in Scotland. With special permission from the CAA Jason piloted flights around London City Airport and The Nightingale Hospital during the Covid19 lockdown.

By incorporating aerial photography into his commercial photographic service, Jason is able to illustrate the scale of industrial sites and supplement reportage and portraiture for corporate reports. This has given him a unique skillset that enables him to tell human stories and capture their impact on environments.
